SCVC (Science Creates VC) Science Creates VC was founded in 2020 in Bristol by Dr. Harry Destecroix. who holds a PhD in Chemistry, founded Ziylo (sold for up to $800M), and was awarded an MBE in 2025. and Jon Craton. It's the first deep tech VC based in South West England. Fund I was a $17M seed fund that backed 12 companies; Fund II is targeting £80M (roughly $100M).
