Obvious Ventures is a San Francisco firm founded by Twitter co-founder Ev Williams, with around $1B in committed capital and Fund V at $360M. The thesis is built on three pillars: human health and longevity, planetary sustainability and operations. The firm makes around ten investments a year at seed and Series A. Industrial-relevant holdings include Zanskar in AI-led geothermal exploration, Pyka in electric autonomous aircraft, Forum Mobility in electric drayage trucks, Dexterity in warehouse robotics and Lightship in electric recreational vehicles.
