NATO Innovation Fund The NATO Innovation Fund is the world's first multi-sovereign venture capital fund. €1B backed by 24 NATO Allies. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Amsterdam, it operates as a standalone VC with no NATO involvement in investment decisions, despite the name. The focus is deep tech for the defense, security, and resilience of the Alliance's 1 billion citizens. Sectors covered include AI, quantum, biotech, space, energy, materials science, data and computing, and autonomy.
