General Electric
Tier 1 Industrial Priority
Bio
GE Ventures was founded in 2013 as the corporate venture arm of General Electric, originally headquartered in Menlo Park. The mandate covered healthcare and life sciences, energy and mobility, manufacturing and supply chain, enterprise productivity, digital infrastructure, and frontier technologies. The portfolio passed 75 companies, including Clearpath Robotics in industrial autonomy. GE has since restructured into GE Aerospace and GE Vernova, with venture activity reduced and rationalised. Industrial Raise lists GE as a Tier 1 corporate. Current investment activity now runs through the operating businesses, with no single venture vehicle.
