Future Ventures

Future Ventures was founded in 2018 by Steve Jurvetson and Maryanna Saenko, run from Los Altos. Jurvetson led founding investments in Tesla, SpaceX, and Planet during his DFJ years. Funds I through III each landed near $200M in 2019, 2021, and 2023, with Final Frontier vehicles ranging from $50M to $210M for space and frontier tech. Across 64 portfolio companies, the firm counts five unicorns, seven IPOs, and eight acquisitions, totalling $1.7trn in aggregate value creation. Recent cheques span Commonwealth Fusion, D-Wave, Upside Foods, and Earthshot Labs.
