Future Energy Ventures is E.ON's corporate venture arm, investing in digital, asset-light Series A and beyond companies with proven product-market fit. Founded in 2016 and led by Jan Lozek, Fund II closed at €235M in November 2025 including a €30M Italy allocation. The 21-strong team backs three themes: Future Energy, Future Cities, and Future Technologies. Cheques run €1-5M at Series A. Portfolio includes Thermondo, ev.energy, GridX, and Prisma Photonics.
