Extantia Capital

Extantia Capital is a Berlin-based climate fund founded in 2020, managing around €300M across two strategies. The Flagship vehicle, an Article 9 fund focused on deep decarbonisation, closed at €204M in November 2024. A second strategy, Allstars, is a fund-of-funds backing other climate VCs. The 14-person team spans Germany, the UK, and Israel, led by partners Sebastian Heitmann and Yair Reem. Cheque sizes run €1-5M at seed to Series A. Portfolio includes Reverion, Modern Hydrogen, LeydenJar Technologies, Epoch Biodesign, Modern Synthesis, and AssetCool.
