Evonik Venture Capital is the corporate venture arm of Evonik Industries, a German specialty chemicals company. The €400m fund deploys up to €15m per portfolio company and has made roughly 55 direct and fund investments since 2012. Three themes guide strategy: Advance Precision Biosolutions, Accelerate Energy Transition and Enable Circular Economy. Portfolio includes Interface Polymers (recyclable plastics), SuperC (graphene/Li-ion), Allay Therapeutics and Citrine Informatics (AI for materials). Offices in Germany, the US and China.
