Emerald Technology Ventures was founded in 2000 in Zurich as one of Europe's first independent industrial cleantech VCs, now with over $1B in commitments and 90+ portfolio companies. The thesis is sustainable industrial innovation across energy, packaging and materials, water and wastewater, automation and industrial IT, and food and agriculture. Climate Tech Fund passed €250M, with a Swiss Technology Fund mandate of CHF 350M alongside. Portfolio names include Ineratec in Power-to-Liquid e-fuels, Paptic in bio-based packaging, and Embotech in autonomous vehicle software. Offices span Zurich, Toronto, and Singapore.
