Eclipse Ventures is a Palo Alto deep-tech firm founded in 2015 by Lior Susan, with around $5B across 14 funds. The stated mission is to rebuild the industries that power the physical economy. The firm runs a venture-equity model that co-founds companies with operators from Tesla, Amazon Robotics, Northvolt and GE. Targets cover manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, semiconductors and defence. Industrial-relevant holdings include Cerebras in wafer-scale AI compute, VulcanForms in metal additive manufacturing, Bright Machines in factory automation and Ursa Major in rocket engines.
