Chevron Technology Ventures

Chevron Technology Ventures is the corporate venture arm of Chevron, founded in 1999 and based in San Ramon. Future Energy Fund III closed at $500m in 2024, the largest in the platform's history, bringing total Future Energy Fund commitments to roughly $900m. The portfolio of 30-plus early-stage companies covers decarbonisation, mobility, energy decentralisation, fusion, direct air capture, batteries and CCUS. Initial cheques run $1-5m at Series A through C. Holdings include Infinium, Svante and ION Clean Energy.
