CAIVE is the regional investment arm of Crédit Agricole Ille-et-Vilaine, based in Rennes and active across Brittany. The fund operates within the bank's wider innovation capital initiative and invests at Series A and later. Industrial deep tech exposure is opportunistic. In September 2025, CAIVE participated in a €20M round for Cailabs, the Rennes-based photonics company building optical ground stations and laser communications. Co-investors included Bpifrance, NewSpace Capital, Starquest Capital and the European Innovation Council.
