BMW i Ventures is the Mountain View-based corporate venture arm of BMW Group, with offices in San Francisco and Munich. AUM stands at roughly $1.1bn, with Fund III closing at $300m in April 2026. The portfolio of 90-plus companies covers car development, manufacturing, and digital sales. Industrial holdings include Solid Power (solid-state batteries), Boston Metal, Kodiak (autonomous trucks), Our Next Energy, Mangrove Lithium, and Xometry. Stage focus runs seed through Series B.
