AT&T Ventures is the corporate venture arm of AT&T, based in Dallas. The thesis runs through a telecom lens, targeting connectivity, IoT and IIoT, AI, 5G, edge computing, and cybersecurity. Around 17 active investments span use cases in robotics, mixed reality, smart cities, and digital twins. AT&T joined Google and Vodafone in a 2024 strategic round into AST SpaceMobile, the satellite-to-smartphone company. Other portfolio names include Derq in road safety AI and Carbyne in next-generation public safety platforms.
