Amazon Alexa Fund

The Amazon Alexa Fund launched in 2015 with up to $200M to back voice technology and AI innovation, run from Seattle. The mandate has broadened well past voice into AI agents, multimodal models, AI-enabled hardware, and generative media. Programmes include Alexa Startups, Alexa Next Stage, and the Alexa Fellowship for university research. Portfolio names cover Skild AI in general-purpose robotic intelligence, Fiddler AI in observability, Span in home electrification, and Orbital Systems in water and energy conservation. Recent additions include NinjaTech AI and Hedra.
