ALTÉRRA

ALTÉRRA is a $30bn climate investment vehicle launched at COP28 in 2023 and based in Abu Dhabi Global Market. It targets $250bn of mobilised capital by 2030 through a fund-of-funds model managed by Lunate Capital. Initial commitments of $6.5bn went to BlackRock, TPG and Brookfield. Four pillars guide deployment: energy transition, industrial decarbonisation, sustainable living and climate technologies. The UAE caps its own returns to draw in institutional capital.
