Addition

Addition was founded in 2020 by Lee Fixel after his run leading private equity at Tiger Global, where he backed Facebook, Spotify, Uber, and Flipkart. Five funds raised in four years took committed capital past $7bn, with reported AUM of $6.5bn as of mid-2023. The strategy splits roughly one-third early-stage, two-thirds growth, with positions in Stripe, Snyk, Chainalysis, Hugging Face, and Alchemy. Software, fintech, and AI applications dominate the book over capital-intensive deep tech.
