8VC is an Austin-based venture firm founded by Joe Lonsdale, the Palantir co-founder. The firm backs platform companies across life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, enterprise, logistics and defence, with around $6B reported under management. It also operates an 8VC Build studio that has co-founded over twenty companies since 2016. Industrial-relevant holdings include Anduril in defence systems, Saronic in autonomous surface vessels, Epirus in directed-energy, Bedrock Robotics in construction automation and Flexport in logistics software.
